Open Images
A collection of video material that Sound & Vision releases under a Creative Commons licence, or is already in the Public Domain. The video sound dataset on Open Images contains more than 7000 videos.
The Sound & Vision dataset on Open Images contains more than 7000 videos. It consists of Polygoon newsreels and some other films from the 20th century. The videos cover a broad range of Dutch (news) topics, such as art, culture, transportation, health, education, nature, politics, sports, pets, fashion and curiosa. The metadata is provided in Dutch and English.
Open Images also contains datasets from other providers and content (mostly remixes) added by users. Access to the material on Open Images is provided under the Creative Commons licensing model.
The Sound & Vision dataset on Open Images is downloadable via the Open Images OAI-PMH API.
