The set contains raw footage of Dutch nature. This subset is part of a larger collection of video's from the project Natuurbeelden that has been made available under a Creative Commons license.

Stichting Natuurbeelden consists of eleven nature organisations: ARK Natuurontwikkeling, IUCN NL, Natuurmonumenten, Vogelbescherming Nederland, De Waddenvereniging, De 12 Landschappen, Instituut voor natuureducatie en duurzaamheid, Vereniging Nederlands Cultuurlandschap, Dierenbescherming, Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance and the Goois Natuurreservaat.

In recent years, the foundation has collected exceptional moving images of nature. The collection now consists of over 4,000 fragments of plants, animals and landscapes. The Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision provides a description of the images and places them on The site gives a unique insight into the special nature of the Netherlands. All images on the site can be ordered. This way, nature organisations, educational and media professionals can use the material as they see fit in various communications.
